Summary

This study tests whether starting peritoneal dialysis (a home-based treatment for kidney failure) at a lower dose and gradually increasing it is better than the standard full-dose approach. The goal is to see if this gentler start improves patients' quality of life and reduces side effects. About 224 adults new to dialysis will take part.
