First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether starting peritoneal dialysis (a type of home dialysis) at a lower dose and gradually increasing it is better than the standard full-dose approach. The goal is to see if this method improves quality of life and reduces side effects for people with kidney failure. About 224 adults new to dialysis will take part.
