New study offers hope for families struggling with child anger and aggression
NCT ID NCT06902649
First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a stepped care approach to help children aged 8-16 who have trouble controlling anger or show defiant or aggressive behavior. The program starts with a brief online parenting support course. If more help is needed, families can try a virtual reality (VR)-assisted therapy for the parent or child, or continue with standard support. The goal is to see if this step-by-step model reduces behavior problems and improves well-being.
