First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at two types of metal stents (partially covered vs. bare) used to open blocked bile ducts in people with incurable cancer. The goal is to see which stent keeps the duct open longer and causes fewer problems. Sixty adults who already have a drainage tube will be randomly assigned to one stent type and followed for a year.
