Heartbeats and breathing: the hidden forces on aortic stents
NCT ID NCT07475260
Summary
This study aims to understand how heartbeats and breathing affect specialized stents used to repair dangerous abdominal aortic aneurysms. Researchers will track 25 patients undergoing this complex repair surgery using special CT scans taken before surgery and at multiple points over two years. The goal is to see how these natural body movements influence stent positioning and potentially improve long-term durability of these life-saving devices.
