New device tested to keep leg arteries open

NCT ID NCT03349996

Summary

This study tested a device called the LifeStream Stent Graft to treat severe blockages in the main arteries of the pelvis and leg (iliac arteries). It involved 70 patients with advanced peripheral artery disease to see if the device could keep the artery open and improve blood flow for up to five years. The main goal was to check if the artery stayed open one year after the procedure and to monitor safety.
