New device offers lifeline for patients too sick for open heart surgery
NCT ID NCT06827990
Summary
This study is testing a new stent graft device to treat a life-threatening tear in the body's main artery, called a Type A aortic dissection. It is for patients who are considered too high-risk for traditional open-chest surgery. The goal is to see if this less invasive procedure can safely and effectively seal the tear and prevent serious complications.
