NCT ID NCT06919822

First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This very early study is testing whether a new type of brain stimulation, delivered via electrodes placed on the brain's surface, can improve movement problems in people with Parkinson's disease. Only 3 adults with Parkinson's will take part. They will first have a non-invasive test, then receive the implanted electrodes and be followed for 12 months to see if their symptoms get better and if the treatment is safe.
