Summary
This study is testing whether stem cells from umbilical cords can help people with spinocerebellar ataxia, a rare genetic condition that affects movement and coordination. Researchers will give stem cell treatments to 45 patients and track their symptoms for a full year to see if the therapy is safe and effective. The study focuses on four specific types of this condition and will measure changes in walking ability, balance, and other symptoms.
