Lab-Grown nerve cells injected into spinal cords in pioneering trial
NCT ID NCT06976229
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing whether injecting lab-grown nerve cells into the spinal cord is safe for people with a recent spinal cord injury. Researchers will enroll 12 participants who were injured 2 to 8 weeks ago to receive the experimental cell therapy. The main goal is to check for side effects, but they will also look for early signs of improved movement or sensation.
