Summary

This study tests a treatment using donated fetal stem cells given through an IV to infants with a severe form of osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease). The goal is to see if it is safe and can reduce fractures and improve bone strength. Some babies may receive the cells before birth as well as after. The study involves 18 participants and compares them to untreated patients from the past.
