Personal stem cells tested in fight against Parkinson's

NCT ID NCT04772378

Summary

This program tested the safety of using a patient's own stem cells to treat Parkinson's disease. It was for 10 older patients (ages 76-95) who had already banked their cells with the research sponsor. The main goal was to see if giving multiple IV infusions of these cells over 18 weeks was safe for people with Parkinson's.
