Scientists inject Lab-Grown brain cells to fight Parkinson's

NCT ID NCT07212088

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether injecting lab-grown dopamine-producing brain cells is safe and might help control Parkinson's disease. Doctors will transplant these cells into the brains of 12 patients with advanced Parkinson's to see if they can restore some lost function. The main goal is to check for safety, but researchers will also monitor changes in movement, medication use, and quality of life over one year.
