Stem cell shots tested to save kidneys after trauma
NCT ID NCT06654193
Summary
This study is testing whether stem cells from donor fat tissue can help prevent kidney damage from getting worse in adults who have suffered a major trauma or burn. Researchers will give three infusions over three days to 70 patients who have already developed early signs of kidney injury. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and if it shortens the time patients spend with serious kidney problems.
