NCT ID NCT06218134
First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested a one-time intravenous dose of stem cells (EN001) in 3 adults with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 1E, a severe inherited nerve disorder that causes muscle weakness, loss of sensation, and often wheelchair dependence. The main goal was to check safety, with early signs of benefit also measured. Previous studies in a related type (CMT1A) found the treatment safe with only mild, temporary side effects.
