One Patient's last hope: using his own stem cells to fight cerebral palsy

NCT ID NCT04029896

Summary

This was a special access trial for one individual with severe cerebral palsy who had no other treatment options left. The goal was to see if infusions of the patient's own stem cells, collected from their body fat, could help control their condition. The patient received eight infusions and was closely monitored for safety and any changes in their motor function over a year.
