Summary

This study is testing a new treatment for people with moderate to severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), a serious lung condition. The treatment uses stem cells from donated umbilical cords, given as an injection. The main goal is to see if it is safe and to find the best dose. About 36 adults who have not improved with standard care will take part.
