Could your own fat cells help fight diabetes?

Summary
This study is testing a one-time procedure that uses a person's own stem cells, taken from their belly fat, to try to improve blood sugar control in Type 2 Diabetes. The processed cells are injected into the wall of the small intestine during a single procedure. Five adults with diabetes will be followed for six months to see if it helps their metabolism and quality of life.
