Stem cells could save sight after chemical burns

Summary
This study tests if injecting donor stem cells into the eye can help heal severe chemical burns and prevent blindness. About 21 adults with recent, serious eye burns will receive one or two stem cell injections. Researchers will check safety and whether the eye heals without a hole in the cornea over 6 months.
