New drug combo aims to cure rare immune disease

Summary
This study is testing whether adding anti-inflammatory drugs to a stem cell transplant can improve the cure rate for chronic granulomatous disease (CGD). CGD is a rare genetic disorder that weakens the immune system, leading to severe infections. The trial will enroll up to 50 participants, aged 4 to 65, to see if this new approach helps the donor stem cells take hold more successfully and safely.
