Timing is everything: new trial tests when to give extra immune cells after transplant to fight leukemia relapse

NCT ID NCT07319793

Summary

This study aims to find the best timing for giving extra donor immune cells to patients who have received a stem cell transplant for hard-to-treat blood cancers like leukemia. It will compare giving these cells as a preventive measure versus waiting and giving them only if early signs of cancer return are detected. The goal is to see which approach better prevents the cancer from coming back while managing side effects.
