Summary

This study tests a new way to do stem cell transplants for people with severe aplastic anemia and other bone marrow failure diseases. The goal is to lower the risk of serious complications, like graft-versus-host disease, by giving fewer donor white blood cells. Participants receive chemotherapy to prepare their body, then a transplant of donor stem cells and a small number of white blood cells. They must take anti-rejection drugs for several months after the transplant.
