First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether a stem cell transplant followed by the drug vedolizumab can help people with severe Crohn's disease that hasn't responded to other treatments. About 50 adults with active Crohn's will receive high-dose chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, and then vedolizumab for several months. The goal is to see if this approach can put the disease into remission and keep it under control for at least a year.
