Could the clock hold the key to safer transplants?

NCT ID NCT06294678

Summary

This study is testing whether the time of day a patient receives donor stem cells affects their risk of developing a serious complication called acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD). It involves 198 patients with blood cancers who are getting a stem cell transplant. Researchers are comparing different infusion times to see if a simple scheduling change can reduce complications and improve survival.
