Could a simple clock change reduce deadly transplant complications?
NCT ID NCT07047456
Summary
This study is testing if the time of day a patient receives a cord blood stem cell transplant affects their risk of developing a serious complication called acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). It will enroll 134 patients with blood cancers who are in remission and scheduled for their first transplant. Researchers will randomly assign patients to receive their stem cell infusion at different times to see if this timing influences their recovery and survival.
