First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether delivering a patient's own stem cells directly into the blood supply of the colon is safe for people with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis. The trial includes 20 adults aged 18-65 who have not responded to at least two standard medications. The main goal is to check for side effects, while also looking for signs of bowel healing and symptom improvement.
