Cord stem cells tested in stroke patients – first human study

Summary
This study is the first to test a new way of giving umbilical cord stem cells to people who recently had a stroke caused by a blood clot. Ten participants will receive the cells through both an artery and a vein to see if it is safe. The goal is to check for side effects, not to cure the stroke.
