First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether a single type of donated stem cell (HB-adMSCs) could help people with Parkinson's disease. 60 adults aged 45-80 received either the stem cells or a placebo. The goal was to see if the treatment improved movement and daily living skills, and to check for any side effects. The trial is now complete, and the results will show if this approach is safe and effective for managing Parkinson's symptoms.
