Fat cells injected into arthritic joints to ease pain

NCT ID NCT04405297

Summary

This study tested a one-time treatment for osteoarthritis using a patient's own regenerative cells taken from their body fat. Doctors injected these processed cells into painful joints like the knee, hip, or shoulder. The goal was to see if the treatment was safe and if it could reduce pain and improve movement for people whose arthritis wasn't helped by standard care.
