First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether a person's own stem cells (called HB-adMSCs) could improve quality of life for people with multiple sclerosis. 24 adults with relapsing-remitting MS received either the stem cells or a placebo through 6 infusions over a year. The main goal was to see if the treatment improved physical and mental well-being, while participants stayed on their usual MS medications.
