Stem cell shots tested to save limbs from amputation

NCT ID NCT05854641

Summary

This small study in Malaysia is observing whether injections of a stem cell product (Stempeucel®) can help patients with severe blockages in their leg arteries. The goal is to see if the treatment reduces pain, helps ulcers heal, improves walking distance, and prevents amputations, while checking for safety. Ten patients who have no other surgical options will receive the injections and be followed for one year.
