Fat cells to fertility? early trial tests new hope for tough infertility cases

NCT ID NCT07230600

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether a woman's own stem cells, taken from her body fat, can help rebuild a healthy uterine lining to improve chances of pregnancy. It is for women who have not gotten pregnant due to a persistently thin or scarred uterus that hasn't responded to other treatments. Doctors will collect fat cells, process them, and place them into the uterus, then monitor changes in the lining and pregnancy outcomes over six months.
