Summary
This early-phase study tests whether stem cells from donated umbilical cords can help people with liver cirrhosis caused by hepatitis B. The goal is to improve liver function and reduce the need for a transplant. Only 12 adults with advanced cirrhosis are being enrolled to see if the treatment is safe and shows promise.
