First-in-Human trial tests Lung-Regenerating stem cells for COPD
NCT ID NCT07355868
Summary
This is a very early study to test the safety of a new cell therapy called REGEND007 for people with COPD. The therapy uses special stem cells from the airways that may help repair damaged lung tissue. Researchers will give the cells through an IV to 12 participants and closely monitor them for side effects while also checking for any early signs that it might help their breathing or reduce disease flare-ups.
