First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a single intravenous infusion of stem cells taken from a patient's own fat can safely improve brain structure and function after a traumatic brain injury. The trial enrolls 51 adults aged 18-55 who have had a brain injury for at least 6 months but no more than 20 years. Researchers will use brain scans and blood tests to measure changes in inflammation and overall health.
