Tiny cell particles tested to heal Stroke-Damaged brains

NCT ID NCT06138210

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether tiny particles called exosomes, collected from human stem cells, can help the brain recover after a sudden stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel. Researchers will give these particles through an IV to a small group of patients to first check if they are safe and to see if they might improve movement and thinking abilities after a stroke. The study is designed to carefully increase the dose while watching for side effects.
