Why your statin might block your workout gains
NCT ID NCT04636138
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people taking cholesterol-lowering statin drugs don't improve their fitness as much from exercise as expected. Researchers will have a small group of statin users complete a 6-week supervised exercise program. They will measure fitness before and after and check if specific genetic differences explain the varied results.
