First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people who had a brain hemorrhage (bleeding stroke) should keep taking statins or stop them. It includes 1,456 adults aged 50 and older who were on statins before their stroke. Researchers will also check if a person's genes affect the best choice. The goal is to find the safest strategy to prevent another bleed.
