Summary
This study tests whether taking statins can reduce the harmful effects of breathing bushfire smoke on the heart and brain. Healthy adults aged 18-64 will be exposed to simulated smoke or clean air in a controlled setting. Researchers will measure heart function, blood pressure, inflammation, and thinking skills to see if statins offer protection.
