Doctors test High-Dose statins to prevent future strokes

NCT ID NCT07344610

Summary

This study is observing 800 people who recently had a stroke or have significant artery narrowing. All participants are receiving a short, high-dose course of common cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins) to see how much it lowers their 'bad' cholesterol and other blood fats. The goal is to understand why some people respond better than others, which could help doctors personalize treatment to better prevent future strokes.
