Summary

This study aims to find the safest and most effective dose of a common cholesterol-lowering drug (statin) for preventing heart disease in healthy adults aged 70 and older. It will compare a low dose to a moderate dose, focusing on side effects like muscle pain. The goal is to provide clearer guidance for doctors on how to best protect older patients' hearts while minimizing discomfort.
