Can 30 minutes of walking daily keep frailty away? new study tests simple approach

NCT ID NCT06023680

Summary

This study is testing two different walking programs to help older adults at risk of frailty reduce their sitting time. Researchers want to see if replacing 30 minutes of daily sitting with either one 30-minute walk or three 10-minute walks is easier to stick with over 60 days. The study also examines whether sitting less leads to better mood, less fatigue, and improved health markers like blood sugar and inflammation.
