Mayo clinic tests Next-Gen scanner for clearer, faster images
NCT ID NCT07272161
Summary
This study is testing a new type of medical imaging machine called the StarGuide SPECT/CT system. Researchers want to see if it can take clearer pictures and work faster than the scanners currently used in hospitals. The study will involve 100 people who are already scheduled for a standard nuclear medicine scan to help figure out the best settings for future patient use.
