First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether eating more slowly digestible and resistant starch can help people with insulin resistance better manage their blood sugar. Forty adults will follow a special diet for two months, with regular blood, urine, and stool tests to track changes in glucose levels, inflammation, and gut health. The goal is to see if this dietary change can reduce blood sugar swings and improve overall metabolic health.
