Summary

This study tests a program called MISSION-CJ for 240 adults leaving jail who have both a mental health disorder and a substance use problem. The program uses peer support and community connections to help them stay in treatment and avoid relapse. Researchers will measure how well participants engage with care and track substance use and overdose risk.
