New spinal implant aims to ease chronic back pain and restore mobility

Summary
This study is testing a surgically implanted metal plate (Minuteman G5) to stabilize the lower spine in people with degenerative conditions causing chronic back and leg pain. About 150 adults will receive the plate and bone graft, then be followed for a year to measure pain, disability, and movement. The goal is to see if the device safely improves function and quality of life.
