Summary
This study tested whether a new questionnaire called SSS-CN can accurately identify somatic symptom disorder (physical symptoms caused by mental distress) in patients visiting heart clinics. Over 1800 adults without known physical disease participated. The goal was to see if the SSS-CN is as good as standard psychiatric interviews for diagnosis and monitoring treatment.
