New depression drug SPT-300 moves to safety check in extension study

Summary
This study is for adults with major depressive disorder who have already completed a previous trial of SPT-300. It will test the safety of taking the drug for another 6 weeks. Researchers will monitor side effects and other health measures. The goal is to see if the drug is safe to use longer-term.
