First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests if a small, temporary nerve stimulator called SPRINT can safely reduce chronic lower back pain caused by the sacroiliac joint. Ten adults with severe pain will receive the device under the skin for a short time and be followed for three months. The goal is to see if this minimally invasive approach provides lasting pain relief without the need for ongoing medication.
