Cooling spray tested to ease Women's procedure pain
NCT ID NCT06227052
Summary
This study tested whether a cooling spray could reduce pain for women receiving a numbing injection before a gynecologic procedure. 98 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the real cooling spray or a harmless placebo spray just before the injection. Researchers measured the patients' pain levels and satisfaction to see if the spray helped.
