New SPOT-ON therapy aims to help cancer patients breathe easier

Summary

This study tests a personalized treatment plan called SPOT-ON that combines oxygen therapy with other supportive care to reduce shortness of breath in cancer patients. About 150 adults with cancer who are hospitalized and have significant breathlessness will take part. The goal is to see if this tailored approach can safely improve their breathing and comfort.
